Katelyn, I really dig your voice. You are different in that you have a definite jazz potential. You sing, you don't yell like so many other AI contestants and past winners. Stick with it, you have a bright future. If I may make suggestions of current singers to listen to: Jane Monheit and Diana Krall. Great vocalists of the recent past to collect and study: Doris Day, Keely Smith, Julie London, Rosemary Clooney and Sarah Vaughn for starters. This girl Katelyn did not deserve to go home, she had good talent & voice. Lily was one of the best!! I am so bummed, don't know what's going on with these voters, it's about favoritism and popularity. Some deserve to be there still but not Katie that's for sure nor that read head girl. Damn it!!

Katelyn, please come back next year. It was a big mistake that did not get into the top 12. You deserve to be there. You're very talented.
