I know this sounds crazy, but I live in the same po-dunk town that he lives in - Gassville, Arkansas. Yeah, his audition video says he lives in Mountain Home, but they're practically the same thing. I was so sad to see him go! I was actually mad because I didn't get to see why they cut him. They didn't even show his performance! He should try out again next year!
