i started to like her when she sings the Terrified..she just sings well with Jason Reeves type of song..love her voice..she looks good with Casey...

She really has that likeability factor.. She is genuine and she has the tone that you would like to hear over an over again like Colbie.. She did a good version of "Terrified" which is really better than Katherine's version to be honest. Get the right songs and current one's DiDi you got to stick to being current as it is your aura. I am a big fan already *wink*

DiDi listen to me young lady. I know you have a mother but I am telling you - I am beginning to wonder about the judges. I watch every year and every year it is the same thing. Do this Do that - Don't do this Don't do that - sing younger - sing older because you're and old soul. I have to tell you I thought the performance you gave Wed. was perfect. I just don't have a clue what they are hearing but you were soooo good. Ellen to me is a very nice person, I love her and I watch her show but I think she should stick to that. Her opinions to me don't have much merit. Most of the time she is copying Randy's opinion except she is not as harsh. Maybe you should look back at some of the songs Katherine McPhee sang. I think she got some harsh criticism for some song choices but like I said I'm beginning to think the judges are just full of it, if you know what I mean. You are beautiful. The most beautiful girl on the show and you have a killer voice and in my opinion - YOU ROCKED!

If the judges are so darn smart why don't they pick the songs for everyone and then see if their opinions change any. Then they would have to criticize themselves for the song choices. I think we should judge the judges, how about you?

DIDI - How about doing Michael Jackson's "Who's Loving You" or his song "Speechless". Either one of those would be great. Especially Who's Loving You. It would really show off your voice.

If you look at the version of Terrified she did you will see that when she walked in Simon kind of had a dismissive "lets get this one over with" demeanor about him, and she totally changed his opinion of her in a little over a minute. That was the SINGLE best performance of this season. In all her other performances she seems very affected by the fact that she is being "judged", but in this performance she seems to be in her own world just killing it without anyone else in the room. I hope she can do more of this because that is the "it" that wins American Idol. I'll be rooting for her to find that "zone" again.

Didi....the judges have no idea what they are talking about. You need to keep your spirit about you and hold your head up high! May I suggest instead of staying with your Ingrid Michaelson vibe, you try listening to a couple of the following artists? Brooke Fraser, Joy Whilock, Joy Williams, Jesi Kettering, or even Bethany Dillon? You have My votes! Didi...I have been in music all of my life - which I have played the bass guitar for just about every genre of music. Even though I didn't pursue singing, I know immediately when I hear vocals if they have it or they don't. I will have to say even in spite of experiencing a few bobbles along the way, your vocals are absolutely phenomenal and powerfully moving. You have my vote all the way - because I believe you are right in what you feel...you are destined to win on the third go-around!

The women on this week's American Idol were pretty darn good. Music is one way of communicating through the lyrics of the song and the melody that it conveys. It is just so nice that there are competition like this wherein it does not search for the new singing sensation but they also develops their singing talent and their confidence.
