Jennifer Lopez discounts Steven Tyler so much that it is uncomfortable to watch. She really needs to STOP. Her body language tells everything. It makes me not want to watch this show. Its too bad because this is a fun show to watch, but she really needs to adjust her attitude and show some respect to all her fellow judges!
love the coaches specialy the ever georgous black women i dont know the name i am sorry but she is excellent... she just do that to push and bring someones talent out... and make them shine.... love her.. iknow she is not contestant but she rocks! she is WINNER! give her an award yeah!
Reed, Elise, Haley, and Eben won the evening with their rendition of The Night Has a Thousand Eyes. This was just great and it had a slight jazzy twist to the original (recorded by Bobby Vee) and in some ways it sounded better. Next best were the two base singers who did Make It Easy On Yourself which is not posted here for some reason. Overall they were all fantastic especially knowing they are performing for millions of viewers.
What happened to the Jailhouse Rock performance with Scott Dangerfield?
Yes, they seemed completely out of sync with the band. Maybe they possibly could have skipped the vocal coach if they felt that confident, but not practicing with the band is completely unprofessional. I've never heard of anyone in professional music not working with their musicians. In my humble opinion, they all should have been cut for being that arrogant. But then again, who am I?

I agree with all the Johnny fans. I couldn't remember his last name until I read other comments. I hadn't voted in years, but when Johnny's audition was done I went into our home office where my husband was and I said, "OK all the other contestants can go home, this Johnny guy is going to blow them all out of the water." I thought for the first time I may just take the time to vote again. I agree with another poster were their wearing earplugs?
WTF with the elimination of Johnny Keyser?! And not showing us his group performance at all? Or interviewing him afterward? What is UP? I became Idol's Biggest Fan last year (watching for the first time -- didn't miss a TV minute from auditions to the end, and attended the Idols concert when it came to my city), but this move turned me off SO much. I suppose I'll keep watching, as plenty of my other faves (Reed, Skylar Laine, Adam Brock) made it through, but I've lost some respect for this show with this ridiculous choice by SOMEone that was totally hidden from the public. At least tell us WHY. Hey, AI -- you gotta take care of your fans better!
I watched your show last night maybe Steve's impression of Edd Sullivan would be appropriate "A Really Good Show", yes, was very entertaining. Of course not every body can go on to be the winners,so, I still find that an emtional downer. When I was a young artist I did also pay tribute to Elvis by painting a Art Series that did very well. My family did have that Art Work sold. I can only give you a hint the person who sold the Elvis Art Sereies was a famous American Artist and socialite,yes, I very much enjoyed your show last night, take care, Phillip Joseph Bianco

I like American Idol but after tonight what Steven Tyler did was very distasteful, I don't think I will be watching anymore, to me that was very childish.
Would NOT want their job this year. These contestants are unbelievable.
Johnny was my American Idol first choice and Lauren Grey my second no need to watch now unless they bring them both back :(

Johnny was top 5 talent! What happened?
From what I saw on tv the other night, the group songs from the 50's they sounded so very professional and very entertaining for being so new to the spotlight. Some outshone the others but it was very good on the production part of the show. Keep it up. I know who we think is going FAR in this Idol edition.

Heejun Han got to stay and Johnny Keyser goes home? I hated Han's voice and his attitude stinks.
I understand the need to inject some drama and suspense, but the judges and the show do play with these people in a kind of cruel way. But if you think about it, the contestants are all there voluntarily and they should know that's what happens on this show.
What a huge success last year's Idol, Scotty McCreery, has been. Love the fact he never fails to give God the glory for his winning Idol.

Bring Johnny Keyser back!!!! He is sooo good, if people haven't watched his videos on youtube, watch them and maybe the judges should watch them and see what a mistake they made.

have you ever watched the bachelor or bachlorette. the producers make them keep certain people around because they think they make good or interesting viewing, you know the troublemakers. You know this guy cant be that blind, right? I think idol is doing the same thing. theyre making the judges keep a few of them around to keep the viewing interesting. NOT WORKING GUYS! We're on to ya!

Love you guys, BUT...you really sent a few home that should still be there! Especially the guys with the leather jackets!! You kept 3 but sent the 1 home!!That guy has a very unique sound and was spot on! I can't believe you couldn't get his vibe!! Then you keep others that were so mediocre!!Sorry! Not doing good on these Vegas auditions in my opinion! And what is up with the groups?? Don't like that situation!! Missing out on some great talent

Congratulations to the judges on making one of the biggest mistakes in the history of this show. Johnny Keyser has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. Period. He had by far the best voice in the entire competition... and he doesn't even make the top 40? That's just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
oh my god i cant believe that jessica philips and johnny keyser got cut? two of my favorite and best singer this seaon been out? really? and that cowboy got through? hahaha so funny huh? its sucks really sucks..
Last night's Vegas performances was amazing! However, there were some cuts that was made which was truly disappointing. Such as Britney Kellog. A wonderful voice which was disapprovingly eliminated from the competition. Another excellent voice was Johnny, along with Schyler Dixon, and other great voices. AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT ARE YOU EXACTLY LOOKING FOR OR LISTENING FOR?!!
Can't believe they cut Johnny....makes me think the show is all about drama and keeping it interesting and not talent. Will never watch it again. It's a joke. The Voice is way better!!!
oops I do agree with Nel Lord. I hate they way the judges play with the contestants emotions. It's almost cruel.
Why doesn't someone start a page to bring Johnny back?
I'm glad to see that so many people out there are on the same page - keeping Richie the cowboy and cutting Johnny? incredible! That was a bad decision. Johnny's amazing. Richie's pitchy as Randy sometimes says.

i would like to say the judges suck!! Steven only knows how to talk nasty. There is hope for Randy. it's really sad when you know who they want to win. I don't care to even watch or listen to what they have to say. because as I said before they suck.. This is my first year to even watch American Idol and I think it may be my last. It's not fair how they vote, one person can tie up a phone line all night and you tell me that's fair. I think the way Dancing With the Star does it is right. you only get so many vote according to how many dancers are left. not how many phone lines you can jam up.. It's time for me to stop, look and listen before much more of my time is spent on watching American idiots.
