David Archuleta was a welcoming breath of fresh air for Season 7 of American Idol. Archie's sincerity, his smile and his talent really light up a room; not to mention what he did on the stage! This picture was taken from the Top 4 week which showcased the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. David sang "Stand By Me" and "Love Me Tender" (which was one of the fan favorites out of all his performances). His personality is reflected not only in his song choices but in his hair style as well. For the "Stand By Me" number, David went with a little more tousled all over style to give him a more vulnerable look for the emotional song. For his rendition of "Love Me Tender", David had a spiky look in the front - maybe an updated nod to the King's famed coif? Archie's hair gives his clean cut style a bit of an edge which makes the girls go crazy. Well, that and his swoon-worthy voice. Changing up David's hair with each number really polished off his look and completed the vibe for each performance. Never underestimate the power of good hair! Not only does it complete your look but it also can provide a slight edge when needed.
