This week Lil was really excited about having long hair so her makeup was spiced up to go with it. First, her skin was prepped using Dermalogica active moist followed with the luminous {me} by Mezhgan primer to help the makeup go on smooth and last longer. To highlight the center of her face, the {me} foundation brush was used to blend Laura Mercier Toffee Bronze foundation through her forehead, nose and upper cheeks. Then to contour the outer frame of her face and under her cheek bones, a slightly darker shade, Deep Bronze, was blended and swept down the jaw line. MAC NW 40 Moisture cover was patted under the eyes to help brighten as well as for extra coverage. With a blending brush, Vincent Longo water canvas amber cream blush was applied along the apples of the cheeks using a swirling motion. There is a lot of time between makeup and the live show so her entire face was set with the flawless {me} by mezhgan perfecting powder in dark. To give her a glow, Bobbi Brown's Matte Bronzer was dusted all over. And lastly for an extra pop of color, the apples of Lil's cheeks were swept with MAC's Raisin, a warm amber powder blush, and topped with mezhgan's cheeky {me} highlighting shimmer to catch the lights. Next, she was ready to do up her eyes. For long wearing eyes, MAC Groundwork Paint Pot, a warm beige creaseless cream, was washed over the entire lid. Then the highlighting color from mezhgan's naturally {me} eye shadow palette was blended on the inner corner of the eye and along the brow bone to open up her eyes. To give her eyes some depth, MAC's Saddle, a warm brown shadow, was blended on the lid through the crease using the {me} eye shadow brush. Concentrating on the outer corners of her eyes, the sparkling brown from the naturally {me} palette was added to spice it up. Then, MAC Solar Bits Golden Black, a shimmery gold black pigment, was pressed into the corner and on the lid to get her smoky, sparkling eyes. Using an angle brush, MAC Blacktrack eye lining pot was used to create a thick black line that was winged out past the lash line. The lower lashes were lined with the dramatic {me} lining pencil which was brought through the water line as well. To soften her liner and tie it together, the golden black pigment was smudged into the liner using the angled lining brush. MAC Glitterpuss Glitter Eyeliner topped the inner corners for an added pop. Finally, a false set of lashes completed her glam look. Her lashes were curled and topped with look at {me} mascara to give the false lashes a more natural look. Her lips were lined with MAC Chestnut liner and filled in with a combination of Mezhgan's foxy {me} lip gloss, MAC Pink Grapefruit lip glass, and MAC Golden Soft Lip Gelee. She was working her new look and ready to work the stage.
