Lil was exhausted this week and got sleepy in the makeup chair while she was getting made up. She got a really smoky eye to go with her sassy dress. To begin, she was prepped with Dermalogica active moist moisturizer, topped with the flawless {me} by Mezhgan primer. This allowed her makeup to glide on smoothly and last throughout the day. Using a foundation brush, Laura Mercier Toffee Bronze, a lighter medium coverage foundation, was blended all over the center of the face. This was followed by Laura Mercier Deep Bronze, a darker foundation, blended around the outer frame of face and under cheek bones. To add some color, a shimmery peach cream blush was swirled along the apples of cheeks using a blending brush. Her foundation was set with Laura Mercier translucent powder. To warm up the skin, Matte Bobbi Brown
Bronzer was brushed around the frame of face and under the cheek bones to warm up the skin. To give her cheeks that extra pop of color, the peach and shimmer tones from the cheeky {me} by Mezhgan blush quad were blended with a blush brush. For her long wearing eyes, MAC Still life, a light shimmery eye paint, was washed in the inner corner of eye and along brow bone, then MAC Graphito, silvery black eye paint, was pulled from the outer corner over the lid. To intensify the colors, the sultry {me} by mezhgan highlighter color was brushed on top of Still Life. MAC's Dark Soul
pigment shadow was blended in with the graphito on the entire lid. For more definition, the upper lash line was lined with dramatic {me} by Mezhgan liner, which was also smudged on the lower lash line. A strong black eye shadow from the
sultry {me} palette was applied over the liner to smoke it out even more. A thick set of ardell false lashes were applied and curled with her natural lashes, then coated with a waterproof mascara. To complete her Motown look, her lips were lined with MAC chestnut pencil and filled in with mezhgan's signature just {me} lip gloss. She was all glammed up and representing the Motown era!
