Ryan starts the show by reminding us that 2 guys and 2 girls will be sent home tonight, and there were 32 million votes. After some chit chat with the judges, Ryan announces some of the people the top 12 will get to work with including: Diana Ross, Bon Jovi, J-Lo, Gwen Stefani, Tony Bennett and Martina McBride. And then YAY, our first group song: "Sowing the Seeds of Love," by Tears for Fears. I like the song, but it's very old school! They did well with it, though. They have a good sound as a group!

First to get cut will be a guy. There are so many to choose from after Tuesday's show. Ryan had the back row come forward first. Brandon-safe, Sundance-safe (WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??! He is SERIOUSLY lucky!!), Chris R.-safe, Nick-safe, Blake-safe, Paul-NOT safe -> again, WHAT? I am in shock! Then they make him sing. Now, I knew he wasn't going to win, but I thought he'd do much, much better. Oh well.

Girls are up next. Jordin-safe, Stephanie-safe, Sabrina-safe. Now, at this point, I saw Antonella on the end next to Ryan. I knew she'd be safe (as much as it pained me) because I knew they wouldn't do the same thing twice. Anyway, Leslie-safe, Melinda-safe, Antonella-safe. Then Amy joins Ryan, and she hadn't even stopped walking when he told her that her journey was over. She jokingly said, "Can I pick another song?" People thought she was serious. Anyway, she doesn't stink, but she wasn't going to win.

After another break, Ryan welcomes Fantasia to the stage where she announces that she'll be on Broadway in the production of The Color Purple starting on April 10th. Then she sang, "I'm Here." I liked that song and she didn't scream it. And I liked that she sang it mostly to the contestants.

After another break, the remaining girls are up...Haley-safe, Lakisha-safe, Gina-safe, Alaina-safe, which means that Nicole is going home. I'm okay with that...and then she had to sing (I really like that song).

After another break, the remaining guys were up. Chris S.-safe, Phil-safe, Jared-safe, AJ-safe (I love him because, whenever they show him, he's having SUCH a good time! He's adorable!). Sanjaya and Rudy are left. Ryan says that one is staying and the other is going home. Sanjaya is safe and Rudy is out. Rudy's problem was that he sang first and he didn't sing that well. Before they made him sing, we saw the journeys of all 4 people while they played "Home" by Daughtry to replace "Bad Day." Well, that's it for our first eliminations show. I forgot how stressed I get during this stuff! Anyway, until next time!
