Casey James, Lee DeWyze, Aaron Kelly, and Michelle Delamor were hanging backstage before the top guys performed. After some playful banter between Ryan and stage manager Debbie, the clips package for John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor, and Haeley Vaughn rolled, which made everyone cry.
After the second week of voting, Michelle Delamor, Jermaine Sellers, John Park, and Haeley Vaughn were leaving the competition. The girl going home would either be Didi Benami or Michelle Delamor, two ladies who took risks with song choice the previous night. Were Michelle's handless gloves from last night enough to save her? Michelle and Didi hugged after hearing that Michelle would be leaving the Top 20. Michelle took the stage for a final time. The corporate singer looked polished as she sang "With Arms Wide Open."

Ironically they were singing "I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night," but the night ended with four people going home and tears running down 20 faces. She also made an interesting fashion choice of gloves that are only fingers?it's like the top half of Todrick's fingerless gloves. The judges thought she looked hot and Kara thought it was Michelle's best performance to date. It looks as if Ashley told Paige some shocking news, and Katelyn and Michelle seem to be having a good time too.
Michelle Delamor signed posters before the show. We said goodbye to Janell, Ashley, Joe, and Tyler. Only 20 contestants are left. Who will be going home next? Allison met with Ryan for an "awkward interview." She said it was scary to be back and she felt like she was going to get eliminated. This probably didn't ease the nervous contestants' fears. The Top 24 performed as one big group. The Top 24 performed together for the first and last time with Estelle's "American Boy." It was fun to see who can dance and who can't. And it wouldn't be an American Idol group performance without ending it with a fist pump.
Ryan Seacrest asked Michelle Delamor about her nerves during the results. The Top 12 girls were the lucky ones kicking off the first live show of the season. You can physically see them shaking in their boots, or platform Mary Janes in the case of Siobhan Magnus. Hey, did you know Simon Cowell has the hots for Ellen DeGeneres? Yeah?neither did I. Michelle Delamor has 3 jobs, which is about two to three more jobs than most people have, and about 29 jobs less than Ryan Seacrest has. She sang "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys which is always tough, but she sang it very well. The judges just hope she can change it up and do something different next time.
