An energetic Michael got the crowd moving. The tour finale brought the Idols back on stage as one big, happy group! "Don't Stop Believin'" was the motto of the tour, and the Idols made Randy Jackson proud with their Journey tribute. The finalists hung out together for one last time before Season 8 commenced. Danny Gokey gave Kris Allen a fist bump before taking the stage with Allison, Alexis, Michael, and the rest of the Top 13. It was an all-star night with great special guests, surprises and of course - a new American Idol! Megan Joy and Michael Sarver finished their performance with Steve Martin, and were met with much applause. The last group performance of Season 8 was a great one. For the last performance of the night, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen joined Queen on stage to sing "We are the Champions." The rest of the Top 13 joined the group on stage. The Top 13 reunited to sing "So What" by Pink. It was great to see everyone back on the Idol stage. With Memorial Day right around the corner, the Idols looked confident wearing white just a few days early. The Top 13's performance ended with a bang. The rest of the Top 13 rooted on the final 3 from the audience. The Top 13 supported Adam and Kris from the front rows of the Nokia Theater.

The judges got so caught up in the performance, Simon admitted they didn't even have a reply for Michael after he was done singing! Sadly, Simon decided to take the reigns, and he told Michael that his time on Idol had come to an end. Michael was energetic during his performance. Would it be enough to save him? Michael Sarver laughed as Simon explained that they had gotten so caught up in the performance, they didn't even have a verdict on "The Judges' Save!" The Top 11 got together for a big ending to their rousing group performance of "Trouble". The Top 11 showed a lot of personality! The contestants were feeling good even though one would be leaving within the hour. Ten of the hopefuls worked the stage with some dance moves while Scott MacIntyre got into his zone behind the piano. Michael Sarver looked cool, yet approachable, on the set of the photo shoot.

Simon said he wishes they could have a whole week of Country music, with his tongue firmly planted in his cheek, of course. Before the performances began, the Top 11 were shown meeting with their mentor for the week, Randy Travis.
