Judges and producers supported Kristen O'Connor after her elimination.

The finalist ladies were looking lovely backstage.

The contestants stuck together on the press line after the show.

After Jake's performance C.J., Kristen, Caleb, Jessica and Emily were the last contestants to hear their results. Randy said his piece first noting that C.J. needs to bring his "consistency up so he's great every week," while praising Kristen's "pretty good performance." Randy thought Caleb's Top 13 performance continually shows his authenticity and noted the Emily's effort was good, but failed to show "edge."

It turned out that Kristen received the lowest number of votes. She'd have to sing her heart out to tempt the judges to use their one save of the season. Kristen chose to reprise her Rush Week performance of "Turning Tables" by Adele. Remember, the judges' decision had to be unanimous in order to use the save.

Ryan immediately announced that Kristen was the third contestant in the bottom three. Who was in danger of elimination, though? When Harry asked his opinion on the bottom three he noted that the results were both "surprising and not surprising." Ryan then revealed MK Nobilette was safe. It came down to Malaya and Kristen. Kristen said if she got another chance she'd "try and be more myself," while Malaya noted that she would "calm down" a little if given the shot.

Harry noted that Kristen is “a really strong pop singer,” but added that she was singing out of tune. This was a note he would echo to almost all the performers throughout the night. Jennifer urged Kristen to “stop thinking” about her performance so much, while Keith praised her range.

The third spot went to bubbly Kristen O'Connor singing Kelly Clarkson's “Beautiful Disaster.” Kelly may have penned the song about a relationship, but Kristen's performance was all about her own struggles. Randy thought Kristen's task would be to sell the emotion of the song “to the judges and the public.”

Your Season XIII Top 13 Finalists!

Kristen O'Connor was the final contestant to perform, chosen because the judges felt that she had “something special.” Kristen's performance of “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry wasn't her best showing, but Keith thought her performance was still “really good.”

Trained nurse Kristen O'Connor was the next contestant to earn a spot in the Top 10 girls. We followed Kristen to Randy's workshop where Chris Daughtry gave her some advice on staging her performance and Randy suggested that Kristen needed to focus on emoting outward. Though Kristen's performance of "Turning Tables" started a little shaky, she ended her performance with a bang!

Harry started off the critique positively saying Kristen delivered a really "powerful performance." Keith noticed that nerves were affecting Kristen's breathing at the beginning, but praised her "killer range." Jennifer gave Kristen ultimate praise saying that she could hear Kristen recording records tomorrow.

Kristen O'Connor sang Katy Perry's "Unconditionally," and the prognosis is #IdolTop30 for our nurse tech.

Caleb Johnson's big voice and Hollywood experience were evident during his solo, Stephanie Hanvey showcased another studded hat while singing "Girl On Fire," and Nurse Tech Kristen O'Conner sounded really good with her Jessie J. song, although we were a bit distracted by her mouth shapes. We'll be seeing more from these three on group night!
