idolfan, i would pick MICHAEL JOHNS to come back! he was such a good guy, and had a beautiful voice! loved his style, i would soo listen to him if he makes music. carly was really cool too, but her voice wasn't unique to me, ramiele's voice was good but her personality wasn't special, but i thought they were always wayy to mean to her! and i don't remember the other girl cause i wasn't into AI as much yet

I certainly agree with 4everinbluejeans, Jason is the real amateur in this contest and this is what American Idol is all about, finding amateur singers to become one of the best professional artists. As you all know the other contestants already have their own record deals before joining the competition, some have won singing contests, joined singing groups which is their advantage. We must give credit to Jason, who just taught himself to play the guitar, other instruments and sing. His inexperience brought him this far and that is already something.

i hate that everyone says jason didn't care. he was trying really hard, and he knew he couldn't handle it, and i respect him for getting this far even when he obviously isn't ready. he only started singing a year ago he said, taught himself to sing and play guitar. his last performace after elimination was awesome, because instead of crying like a baby, he was happy with himself. he was always respectful to the judges, never tried to argue like everyone else has done. you can't hate on someone for being truthful and happy no matter what!

Unless you people haven't realised, each and every one of them is strong in a certain genre. Sure, they can do other genres, but maybe not as well. If they want to remain in the competition, they would do songs that are in the genre that they're good at. SO, stop harassing the contestants that they're boring or plain because they stick to one type of song. They're still in the competition so they did something smart by choosing songs they know they're good at.

I was very sad that Jason left and am upset with idol for obviously dogging him out with the judges when he is an amazing artist. He felt like he was being pushed out the door so of course he wanted to go home. Jason was the most unique person on the show and I am a sad fan who hates to see him go and he obviously messed up to let Syesha have the top three when its obvious if Jason had performed at a level that looked like he tried he would have made it further. Can't wait to see Jason on tour and at this point I could care less who wins because my fav is gone. Luv you Jason. Best of luck in the future and can't wait to buy your cd.

i totally understand what you mean by that soccerstar1151 i do think he cares for his brother having cancer but that is because his brother is his family. i can't see him in a year or two going to a benefit concert but more of at a giant rock concert. the direction he is headed does not follow the path that he is on right now. i think he is going to change after the show but i see what you mean and i think that it is sweet that he is there for his brother.

i was sad to see jason go, he was by far my favorite, but i knew it was his time, i think once you're that far it doesn't matter who wins!!! i have respect for all of them, but i do understand why people say david cook is full of himself. just a little. its like he knows he's awesome, but i think its also because of all his experience. i started to like him more when i saw him crying after always be my baby. did anyone watch the "pet peeves" video where they say David C tells bad jokes?! it was hilarious! i think David A is genuine, just not my cup of tea. can anyone see David A being on the disney channel?? i can soo see him in highschool musical or something!!!

manlypotato: i appreciate that you would put your opinion on here, but i have to disagree with you. David Cook isn't full of himself. He wears that orange bracelet for a kid who has cancer, and the intials AC stand for his brother's initials. His brother has brain cancer. I'm sorry, but I dont think thats very self-centered. i have written this before but i will say it again. david cook is an o.k. singer. it is not my cup of tea but the other reason i don't like him is because he thinks that he is so awesome and is so full of himself. you can totally see it too. i think that after the show if he wins he will snap from a good singer to another brittney spears. he doesn't have any ground to stand on. david archuleta on the other hand has a huge support system consisting of family and friends and i think that he will not get all caught up in this showbiz stuff and will be a great singer and an even better role model. David archuleta deserves this title more than david cook and he is totally going to win. i am proud of you David A!!!!!
