The Season 9 Idol finalists returned home after the American Idols LIVE! 2010 Tour and were greeted by doting fans, friends, and family. Winner Lee DeWyze drew 40,000 people to the Arlington Park Racetrack as part of his American Idol hometown visit in May, and he will return for a show there on September 24, 2010. See photos from his May hometown visit. This is Lee's first solo performance following the summer's tour.

Aaron Kelly had a homecoming celebration in Laporte, PA, where he was met by a one-mile parade and nearly 2,000 fans. He also managed to sign autographs for everyone who wanted one!

Tim Urban entertained fans at the Sept. 3 Duncanville High School football game by singing "Hallelujah" and "Come On Get Higher" during halftime and the national anthem before the game.

Season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox will be Melissa Etheridge’s guest at the Hard Rock Cafe’s Pinktober campaign kickoff in Hollywood, CA on September 28, 2010. Crystal has shared that Melissa is her idol.

Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me” was #1 on the Adult Top 40 Recurrents chart, while Season 3 winner, Fantasia’s “Bittersweet” was #1 on the Adult R&B Audience chart. The American Idols have now accumulated 281 #1s to date, counting all national, domestic charts compiled by the Billboard Information Group.

Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta appeared on the 2010 Jerry Lewis Telethon, where he performed “Things Are Gonna Get Better.” The song is off his sophomore album, The Other Side Of Down, which will be released on October 5th.

The North American leg of Adam Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour will wrap up next week, and then Adam will begin the international leg of his tour which kicks off in Singapore. He will also perform in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.

Season 5’s Kellie Pickler made an appearance on Fox & Friends to promote her new single, “Making Me Fall In Love Again,” on Tuesday, September 7. She is currently on tour with the Rascal Flatts.

On Friday, David Archuleta, Randy Jackson, and Ryan Seacrest participated in the Stand Up 2 Cancer television event. The telethon was broadcast across multiple networks and featured a slew of celebrities performing, donating, and in David’s case, manning the phones.

Season 8’s American Idol, Kris Allen, was inducted into the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame on September 9th. In other exciting Kris news, the star will visit American troops in Europe from September 27 and October 4, 2010. When he gets back from visiting the troops, he’ll tour the country with Lifehouse.
