On Saturday, July 10, 2010, American Idol Carrie Underwood married hockey player Mike Fisher. The two announced their engagement in December, and they became husband and wife at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia in front of 250 loved ones.

The American Idol judges from Carrie's season (Season 4) - Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson - attended the wedding, as well as some other American Idol contestants and famous country music stars.

Carrie and Mike told PEOPLE, “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” and signed their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”

Recently wrapping up a busy leg of her “Play On Tour,” Carrie has a brief break in her tour schedule to go on a honeymoon with Mike, who planned the trip.
