Before Kelly heads back into the studio, she'll hit the road this summer on her Addicted tour. The amphitheatre outing begins June 30 in West Palm Beach, Fla., and will run through Aug. 6 in Seattle. Tickets for the trek, named after a track from "Breakaway," go on sale April 22.

On the road, Clarkson plans on debuting new material intended for her third studio album, according to her spokesperson. The "Since U Been Gone" star is in the midst of penning cuts for the as-yet-untitled effort and will record demo versions next month. She will return to the studio at the conclusion of the tour in preparation for a late 2006 or early 2007 release via RCA.

To date, "Breakaway" has sold 5.1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set is No. 24 on The Billboard 200 in its 71st week. The fourth single from the effort, "Walk Away," is No. 20 on the Hot 100.
