Idols in the News
Many of your favorite American Idols have been in the news lately for upcoming albums, appearances, and more. Here are some of the Idols that have appeared in the news this week.
Idols Featured on NOW CDs:
American Idol’s Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, and Jordin Sparks will be featured on NOW That’s What I Call Faith CD, which brings together 16 inspiring hits by top pop and Christian artists. The album, which will be released on March 23rd, includes Carrie’s “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” Jordin’s “One Step At A Time,” and Daughtry’s “Home.” Another NOW CD, Now That’s What I Call Music! Vol. 33 will include American Idol Kris Allen’s “Live Like We’re Dying,” Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me,” and Daughtry’s “Life After You.” This CD will also be released on March 23rd. The CD features 16 major hits from the pop, hip-hop and crossover country charts, plus five up-and-coming "NOW What's Next" New Music Preview tracks from hot new artists.

Season 7’s Brooke White will perform at Los Angeles’ The Hotel Café on Wednesday, March 17th and Wednesday, March 31st at 8PM.
Adam Lambert will be featured on the first returning episode of Unplugged. The show will air March 10th.
Season 5’s Kellie Pickler will be a part of the 2010 Country Music Association Music Festival. The event will be held Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13 in Nashville, TN. The artists participate for free, and the CMA donates half the net proceeds of the Festival to support music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools through the Keep The Music Playing program.
