Billboard.com has revealed their artists, albums, and songs of the decade and of the year. Fifteen different Idol alumni charted with decade-end honors, including all eligible American Idol winners (accounted for Seasons 1 - 7).

The following American Idol finalists and winners landed on the decade-end charts: Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Clay Aiken, Elliott Yamin, Jordin Sparks, David Archuleta, Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, David Cook, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Kimberley Locke, Josh Gracin, and Mandisa. Kelly and Carrie landed on the charts about 20 times each, and Daughtry made it more than 10 times. Jordin and Clay had strong showings too. Three Idols landed on the coveted "Artists Of The Decade" chart: Kelly (No. 14), Carrie (No. 50), and Daughtry (No. 90). Of the "Top 200 Albums Of The Decade," Carrie Underwood made it twice with Some Hearts (No. 14) and Carnival Ride (No. 132), Kelly landed at No. 29 with Breakaway, Daughtry made it with their self-titled album at No. 48, and Clay's Measure of a Man came in at No. 170.

The year of 2009 was a big one for Idol alumni. A total of eight Idols charted with year-end honors and include: Kelly Clarkson, David Cook, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, David Archuleta, Jennifer Hudson, Kellie Pickler, and Jordin Sparks. Kelly's name appeared on the year-end charts just about 30 times! Daughtry had nearly 25 nods, Carrie's name appeared 20 times, and David Cook raked in over 15 places on the year-end charts.
