Allison Iraheta, the top placing Season 8 girl, released her debut album today. At only 17 years old, Allison has already been a television star, toured around the country, and released an album.

The album, entitled Just Like You, is 13+ tracks of pop rock music. Allison collaborated with some of the hottest artists and writers/producers on the album including her music icon Pink, Max Martin, and Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. The young rocker even co-wrote the song "You Don't Know Me." There are two bonus tracks on Just Like You: "Don't Wanna Be Wrong," which Chris Daughtry, a fourth place American Idol finalist like Allison, co-wrote, and "El Viernes Te Olvido Yo," a Spanish recording of her debut single "Friday I'll Be Over U." During American Idol's Top Downloads week and while on the Idols 2009 tour, Allison played the guitar as she rocked out to hits such as "Don't Speak" and "So What." Allison plays the guitar on her debut album as well.

When the judges first met Allison, they deemed her "the dark horse" and "the one to watch." Her rocking version of "Alone" launched her from the Top 36 to the Top 13. The red headed rocker showed America her softer side when she sang Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and Gertrude Lawrence's "Someone To Watch Over Me."

AmericanIdol.com recently caught up with Allison. She opened up about her album, touring with the other nine Idol finalists, a possible future collaboration with Adam Lambert, and more. Watch the video.
