Season 8's runner-up, Adam Lambert, has released his much anticipated debut album, For Your Entertainment, today. Adam collaborated with Pink, Lady Gaga, Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, Matthew Bellamy of Muse, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, and many more big names in the music industry on FYE. Always one to make a statement, even Adam's album cover got people talking. Adam said the '80s-inspired aesthetic and glam nature of the cover is "deliberately campy" and "an homage to the past."

Adam co-wrote four of the 14 songs on the album. Last week, he announced that the next single off the album is "Whataya Want From Me." Here is the list of tracks on For Your Entertainment:

Just like he did on American Idol, Adam shows versatility on his debut album. Some tracks are dance club ready, while other songs are slower and show off Adam's sensitive side. On its first day of sales, For Your Entertainment is already ranked #1 in sales on Amazon.com's Rock Music category and #5 in the Pop Music category.

Since appearing on American Idol, Adam toured the country with the Top 10 on the American Idols LIVE! 2009 tour, he won a Teen Choice Award for "Choice TV Male Reality/Variety Star," was named one of People Magazine's Hottest Bachelors and Sexiest Men Alive in 2009, and now he's nominated for a People's Choice Award for "Favorite Breakout Artist."
