Season 1 finalist Ryan Starr turned 27 years old this weekend. She was just 19 when she appeared on American Idol's first season as the California girl who liked rock 'n roll and had a knack for fashion design.

Since her time on Idol, Ryan released a single called "My Religion" in September 2004. The track, which Ryan co-wrote, performed very well, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart. As a result, she was in the 2005 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records because she sold the most exclusive-single downloads in iTunes' history. In 2004-2005, Ryan made the list of the "Hottest Women in Reality TV." During that time period Ryan appeared as a housemate on The Surreal Life and as a contestant on Battle of the Network Reality Stars.

An all-around artist, Ryan has pursued acting, fashion, and modeling in addition to music.
