Season 4's sixth place finalist, Constantine Maroulis, has had a big year. On May 5th he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Drew Bowie in Rock of Ages. The 1980s themed musical debuted on Broadway just a month before Constantine received his nomination. Prior to the Broadway production, Constantine played Drew in the off-Broadway production of Rock of Ages.

Constantine made his Broadway debut in The Wedding Singer in 2006, and before that he was part of the traveling production of RENT. In 2008, Constantine co-hosted American Idol Extra with Gina Glocksen.

We wish Constantine a happy birthday, and as much success this year as he had last year!
