This summer, Season 8 finalist Lil Rounds has toured the country with her fellow Top 10 American Idols. With less than two weeks left on tour, we caught up with Lil to find out what her future plans are, how crazy it is on the girls' bus, and more.

Lil said that being on tour is "absolutely great." She has enjoyed exploring the country and experiencing "different styles, great food, and performing in all different arenas." Most of all, Lil loves seeing the fans come out to support the ten Idols on tour. Lil anticipates that the hardest part about the tour ending this month will be "leaving the other nine Idols. We've all bonded and have had so much fun. I'll miss the management, the band, and everyone else."

The two people Lil will have a difficult time leaving are Megan and Allison. All three girls have been having fun together on the road. "We love playing around, doing pranks, and having water fights and glitter fights with the band members." In addition to water and glitter fights, the girls like to knock on the guys' doors and then run away. In our interview with Megan Joy, she revealed that the girls like to make up raps on the bus. Lil said they would love to form a rap group called "LAM" (for Lil, Allison, and Megan).

Lil, who is a wife and a mother, shared that her family has been to a few of the American Idols Live! 2009 shows. "My babies are always thrilled to see me on stage. They clap, dance, and sing along to my set. I love to point at them and mess with them while I'm on stage. It's so nice to see family in the audience."

The last song of Lil's set is the high-energy "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" by Beyonce. During her performance, she shows off some fancy footwork. When asked how she has the stamina to sing and dance, Lil said "I've always danced, but I didn't get to do it very often on Idol. It's more work to sing and dance, but it's not too hard. We had one month of rehearsals before the tour, and I had the choreography down pat by the second week. The hardest part about dancing is doing it in heels and trying not to fall. I've tripped a few times on stage but no one really noticed. I'm having too much fun!"

During the meet and greets at the various tour stops, Lil has received quite a few gifts. "The fans are awesome. It's great to see people who are supporting you," Lil said. "Whenever children say 'You're my idol,' is the best. One little girl drew me, as a stick figure of course, with a big heart next to it. I really enjoyed that."

After the tour is over, Lil hopes to land a record deal. Her goal is to put out an album by the middle of next year, and if not an album, she'd at least like to release a single by that time.

To all of the Season 9 hopefuls, Lil offered up the following advice: "Make sure you stay true to who you are as a person. Don't try to sound like the next person or someone who already made it through. If you're an opera singer, sing opera. Just be yourself."

Lil has a message to all of her fans - "Thank you for being there for me throughout the American Idol season and tour. Don't forget about me. Look out for much more from me. This isn't the end of Lil Rounds."
