Scott Savol was a finalist on Season 4 and finished in fifth place. The Ohio native, and father of a son named Brandon, sang Gospel songs and soft rock hits.

Since appearing on American Idol, Scott performed as the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz at the Lubbock Memorical Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas. Last June, Scott was one of the headliners for a live music show called "America's Favorite Finalists" in Branson, MO.

Ryan affectionately nicknamed Scott "Scotty the Body" during Season 4. Scott attributed his success on the show to his fans.
