Constantine Maroulis rocked the American Idol stage as a season 4 finalist, and now he is going to rock another stage...on Broadway! Maroulis will star as Drew in "Rock of Ages," opening on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Written by Chris D'Arienzo, "Rock of Ages" made its world premiere at Los Angeles' Vanguard night club in January 2006 before moving off-Broadway in October 2008. Due to a successful off-Broadway run, "Rock of Ages" now has the opportunity to shine at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theater. The story of "Rock of Ages" is told through memorable songs of the 1980s.

This isn't Constantine's first time on Broadway. He made his Broadway debut in "The Wedding Singer" in 2006. Maroulis also starred in the off-Broadway production of "Rock of Ages," and has received wonderful reviews. Rolling Stone says that the "play has found a perfect lead in American Idol rocker Constantine Maroulis." Constantine has also been a part of the traveling production of "Rent," he has appeared on "The Bold and the Beautiful," and co-hosted "American Idol Extra" with Gina Glocksen in 2008.

Besides his vocals and energy, Constantine became well known for looking into the camera with his smoldering eyes. Good luck, Constantine! Or, shall we say, "break a leg!"
