If you've ever thought Kellie Pickler would be perfect in a "fish out of water" type sitcom, apparently you weren't the only one. There is an as-yet untitled Kellie Pickler Project in the works. If the project comes to fruition, producers will be Watson Pond and 19 Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television.

The multi-camera comedy will feature a small-town Southern girl (played by Kellie Pickler) whose life is turned upside down when she finds out that her biological father is a well-respected, Bill Clinton-esque governor on a clear path to the White House. His presidential aspirations are almost derailed when this mystery daughter? (Kellie) is suddenly thrust into his life, but what begins as a political scandal becomes an unlikely father-daughter relationship story. Kellies sweetness and simple country logic help to humanize her Slick Willie? politician father and breathe fresh air into the stale governors mansion.
