If you've been looking to find out the latest news on former Idols, you might want to pick up an issue of PEOPLE. The popular magazine recently highlighted the careers of numerous former Idols, including its recent release of a Country Music issue with articles on Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood and Josh Gracin. An upcoming issue in November will also include an article called "Kellie's Wild Ride." The article talks about Kellie Pickler's quick rise to fame since being part of the final six on American Idol. The article opens with three revelations about Kellie:

1. She loves shoes.
2. She eats a LOT.
3. She will belch and is proud of it.

As she jokes to PEOPLE, "My grandma always told me to be a lady, but I'm guessing I have not fulfilled that wish."

The article goes on to say that "Pickler is out to prove herself as a country singer with her debut album, Small Town Girl. Joe Galante of Sony BMG Nashville is amazed by Kellie, dishing to PEOPLE that "she brings an energy that you're just happy to be around. When you know the things she's been through, this woman has the right to be grumpy, moody, whatever. But that's never there."

Kellie was quite candid with the magazine about the struggles she endured after her grandmother passed away from lung cancer when Kellie was 15. "I called her Mom; she was my best friend," says Pickler to PEOPLE.

Kellie is gearing for this next chapter of her already promising career. As PEOPLE states, "Having just moved to Nashville—she made the drive herself in a U-Haul—Pickler is focusing on her new life."

Read the complete article in the November 13th edition of PEOPLE magazine. In the meantime, listen to her hit single, "Red High Heels."
