Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips sold 169,000 copies of The World From the Side of the Moon, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Phillip's debut album is now placed at #3 on the Billboard 200 and debuted at No. 1 in the Rock Ablums chart and No. 2 in the Digital Albums charts. Phillip's coronation single, "Home";the first coronation single to go double platinum, continues its meteoric rise north of the border, advancing to #27 Canadian Hot 100.
Christmas is a great season for Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery! His holiday album, Christmas with Scotty McCreery, was certified gold by the RIAA on Monday, November 26. Congratulations, Scotty!
Season 5 finalist Mandisa recently released her repackaged 2008 It's Christmas album, which includes two new songs to the set. One of the new songs, "Somebody's Angel" will be featured in the Gospel Music Channel's TV movie Christmas Angel. Mandisa's video for "Somebody's Angel" includes clips from the movie, which premiered Saturday, November 24 on GMC.

Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks is having a great week. She collected her sixth entry on the Adult Contemporary chart with her version of "Do You Hear What I Hear," a song written in 1962 and first recorded by the Harry Simeone Chorale. Jordin's version enters this week at #25. The song is available on the 25th anniversary edition of A Very Special Christmas, a series of albums conceived in 1987 by American Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine to benefit the Special Olympics.
Season 10 Finalist Paul McDonald and his wife, actress Nikki Reed, have a song on a #1 album on this week?s Billboard charts. Their duet, "All I've Ever Needed," is track 11 on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 soundtrack. The album debuted at #1 on the Top Soundtracks chart and #3 on The Billboard 200.
Season 4 Winner Carrie Underwood's new single, "Two Black Cadillacs," debuts at #49 on the Hot Country Songs chart. "Two Black Cadillacs" is the third single off Carrie's wildly popular 4th album, Blown Away.
Kelly Clarkson's latest single "Catch My Breath" is climbing the Hot 100 chart and the single is now at #74! Kelly recently released Greatest Hits - Chapter 1 on November 19th. Included in a bundle will be Smoakstack Sessions Vol. 2 which features Kelly's unique mash up of Alanis Morrisette's "That I Would Be Good" and Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody."
Season 11's Colton Dixon is having an amazing year after his run on American Idol. His single,"You Are" has made it to #23 on the Christian Songs chart and debuted at #26 on the Christian Adult Contemporary chart.
