What's your favorite type of music? I love all music.
When did you first start to sing?
I first started to sing when I was about 16 in a studio. I went to record a song for my mother's birthday.
Do you have any formal singing training?
I have had some singing training but not much.
What other talents do you have?
Acting in local theaters and have studied jujitsu.
If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?
If I don't make it with American Idol I will still go after a singing career.
What are your personal goals in life?

What album would your friends be surprised you own?
A CD that I own that would be a surprise is Abba. It was a gift from my friend Jessica after we had seen and loved Mama-Mia.
Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?
My cousin, Barbara Jean.
Do you have any rituals or things you do each time before you perform?
I had a sack of lucky charms with me every time and would say a prayer before I sang.

Shania Twain.
Most embarrassing moment?

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
This audition is a very proud moment!
If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have?
If I could not sing, I would have loved to have been a pianist (I love piano).
What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?
I think an American Idol is an artist who can touch, inspire and help change a listener with music.

Paula... need you really ask why?
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I think most people would be surprised to hear I was hypnotized to get over stage fright.
How has this changed your life?
This has changed my life by making my dream a reality.

My parents are my heroes by far.

Chasing this dream.

Very fair, very hard.
