Transportation
The Forum is located in Inglewood, CA and is close to four major freeways: 405, 105, 10 and 110. Since the venue is less than five miles away from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), folks flying in can easily take a cab from the airport. The Metro bus is an inexpensive and convenient way to get around town for just $1.50 per ride, and Metro’s Green Line light rail train and Silver Line bus will take you near the Forum. If you choose to rent a car, it is a good idea to keep some extra cash on you, since parking at some of the city’s hot spots and venues can cost money.
Sightseeing
Adjacent to the Forum is Hollywood Park, a thoroughbred horse race course. Los Angeles is known for its sunny skies and warm temperatures, so the beach is always an inexpensive and easy option for staying cool. The auditions are being held near some famous beaches in California including Venice, Santa Monica, and Manhattan Beach. As for hotels, there are plenty of places to stay near LAX, which is near the venue. No matter where you sightsee, be sure to keep a lookout for celebrities in the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”
